Reference Requests

Please submit all queries via the form below and we will do our best to assist you and/or direct you to the proper resources. Please ask only ONE question per email request and please be as specific as possible. Please be advised that requests are placed into a queue and may take approximately two weeks for response.

Staff time is limited to 20 minutes per patron for reference questions. In-depth research is available on a fee-for-service basis for individuals and institutions. (see FEES).

Reference queries are answered in the order in which they are received. Those e-mailing or faxing, as well as those writing letters, should expect a response within 3 to 4 weeks.
