Act One: An American Israeli settler welcomes her anti-Zionist nephew for a visit, and honestly, what could go wrong? Act Two: The same family's matriarch builds a bomb to save the 1905 Russian Revolution... in song!

Rubble Rubble is a half-play/half-musical that charts an American Jewish family's century-long arc from Left to Right and explores the ever-widening rift in the Jewish world over – not just Israel, but the purpose of life itself. The follow-up to Dan Fishback’ s musical The Material World – a Time Out New York “Top 10 Play of 2012” – this staged reading is the first public performance of a new work in progress. Post-performance, there will be a Q&A with the playwright and actors.
